Overall Mogilev

The very first records of Mogilev date back to 1267. The city is situated on the Dnieper river which is the third longest river in Europe. The population of the city makes up about 370 000. Mogilev is a large industrial centre. It is the crossroads of the main highways connecting the city with Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Baltic region.

Such airplanes as IL-76, TU-154, TU-134 etc. are serviced in Mogilev airport. There are regular direct passenger flights from Mogilev to Minsk, Moscow and Kaliningrad. The airport has an international status. Customs and frontier points are to be found here. The city has a large railway junction. Cargo of any type is dispatched and accepted here as well. It can also boast of having its own warehouse facilities. A number of enterprises, situated in a free economic zone, have facilities which let cargo be delivered by railway directly to production areas. Haulage contractors of  Mogilev carry out freight transportation (including heavy and bulky cargo transportation) in Belarus, to CIS countries and abroad (to Germany, Italy, France, Holland, etc.).
