Free economic zone “Mogilev” (FEZ “Mogilev”) is a part of the territory of the Republic of Belarus with strictly defined borders. Its special legal regime establishes more favorable conditions for carrying out business and other types of economic activity than the regular one.
FEZ “Mogilev” was founded by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus ¹ 66 dated 31.01.2002 for the term of 30 years.
FEZ “Mogilev” is a complex zone which includes production, export and free customs areas.
The special legal regime, which is in force on the territory of FEZ “Mogilev”, applies to producing and selling export products and goods alongside with import substituting products and goods (including services) in accordance with the list, approved by the Government of the Republic of Belarus.
Special rights and tax remissions stipulated by the special legal regime do not apply to trade, trade and purchasing activity and public catering. Residents of FEZ “Mogilev” are to have their own office, legal address and production premises in the free economic zone.
